About Us

Two people, one older with a floral shirt and the other younger with long hair and striped sleeves, are playing a xylophone together on a wooden table. The xylophone has black and white keys with some colored markings on the white keys. There are small metallic balls on the table near the bottom right.

What Do We Do?

What is Music Therapy?

Music therapy is the clinical and evidence-based practice of using music to support individualized goals. Music therapists are specially trained to support clients in reaching their unique social, emotional, and developmental objectives.

Music therapists (MT-BC) are nationally certified individuals who have gone through training, supervised clinical internship hours, and completed a national board examination. They have extensive training to be able to utilize specific music-based techniques to support you in making progress on your treatment goals.

Who Do We Serve?

We provide music therapy services to individuals of all ages and abilities—from birth to end of life. We work with individuals and groups in all areas, including early childhood, developmental and intellectual disabilities, mental health, rehabilitation, medical settings, dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and end-of-life care.

Through the use of music, we are able to meet each client where they are at and support them in goals such as growth and development, communication, emotional expression, social connection, coping, or quality of life.

Music therapy sessions are crafted specifically with you in mind.

After meeting with our music therapist for an initial consultation, each following session will be full of musical activities designed to support you.

Using a person-centered approach, our music therapist will support you with music you love and activities that will help you practice skills to make progress toward your goals.
